Global warming caused five periods of mass extinction all live forms on the Earth

Whether mass extinction threatens all alive on a planet?

If to judge under clause of the professor of the Washington university of Peter Ward, a question is not so rhetorical. He considers, that the reason of disappearance of dinosaurs and many other living creatures is not at all falling of asteroids ,as approve many popular theories ,but the Earth mechanism.

The Earth has the ruthless mechanism in the arsenal, which leads to mass destruction of organisms.

As is known, the majority of forms of a life on a planet practically stopped the existence at least five times for the last of 500 million years.

251 million years ago ” Great extinction ” has carried off more than 90 percent of all inhabitants of the sea and 70 percent of a land, including plants.

Ward in detail explains, why the reason of these cataclysms could not be asteroids. And then puts forward the version which was a result of its long-term researches. Here its essence. Ward has shown, that high concentration of carbonic gas confirms a role of global warming in those tragic events. Today this parameter three times is less, that was during the periods mass dying out of alive essences. But if concentration СО2 will grow the same rates as it occurs now, by the end of century it will reach critical feature. The history will repeat, and all alive will appear as a victim of the sixth cataclysm?

Global warming escalates to the point of sharp falling of the maintenance of oxygen. Sharp growth of temperature prevented to acquire to ocean oxygen, creating perfect conditions for duplication anaerobe (oxygen-free) bacteria. Those bacteria in huge quantities developed poisonous hydrogen sulfide which has caused mass destruction of ground and sea inhabitants.

Simultaneously was observed accumulation of huge quantity of carbon, that caused a greenhouse effect, and global warming.

There are some ideas to avoid catastrophe caused by global warming.

1. to make salty gases, by means of special devices, which will take sea water and transform it into the real clouds sated by sodium chloride.
2. creation of floating artificial small islands ,white colored, with a reflecting surface in sea zones
3. or to covering some desert areas with plastic materials (the same white color) for reflection of the solar radiation getting to the Earth
4. dispersion of substances above ocean, which will promote growth of the seaweed, for absorbing great volumes of carbonic gas ( that is already realized in some areas of Antarctica ).
5. to place ,around of the Earth, millions lenses in diameter of 60 cm and weight few grams, which will be capable to reflect solar beams
6. to create ,around of the Earth , a ring of fine particles or spacecrafts with which it is possible to shade tropics to soften a climate

Is this ideas enough to slow down global warming? Maybe the survival of mankind depends on his ability to find new houses in other place in the Universe, because the risk of destruction of alive essences as a result of global warming promptly increases? Maybe people have to build constant base on the Moon in 20 years and a colony on Mars the next four decades? Is there link ,missing in the logical chain of the scientific arguments?

Because of complexities of the analysis of global changes of temperature ,some scientists till now do not recognize warming by the fact ,and prefer to speak about global warming as about the plausible hypothesis requiring careful check.

Climatologists from the largest world research centers, having collected accessible archives of meteorology data from different corners of globe, have processed them and have led to a uniform scale.

On those archives are visible two distinct episodes of global warming.

1. for the period 1910 - 1940. For this time the average temperature on the Earth has grown on 0,3- 0,4°C. Then within 30 years the temperature did not grow and, probably, even has a little decreased.
2. And the new episode of warming which proceeds till now has begun in 1970’s . From this time the temperature has raised for 0,6- 0,8°C.

Practically daily there are awareness of researches in sphere of global warming.

The British naturalists inform of displacement of some kinds of birds, to the north areas .

Canadians mark, that northern rivers remain frozen ,on the average, for two weeks less, than in last 50 years.

Ten miracles of a planet, which always fascinated writers and travelers, are doomed to destruction, if the mankind will not undertake urgent steps against global warming.

Who is guilty for global warming?

At first sight it seems absolutely improbable, that most thin “film” from the pale bodies occupying our planet, can influence somehow so global characteristic, as a climate of the Earth.

However this “biomass” is already repeatedly one of the cardinal mode of altering shape of our planet, structure of an atmosphere and average temperature of oceans.

Once , a terrestrial climate have influence on a seaweed and rendered basically plants, and now the turn has reached animals, more precisely, up to most active of them, the Homo sapiens. But really he is a unique perpetrator of warming?

According to the report of scientists of the United Nations about effects of global warming , the first will disappear the coral barrier ,which in many places, from Pacific ocean up to Caribbean sea, becomes more pale because of rise in temperature of water .

After corals will disappear and ecosystem , which presented the 25 % of all sea flora and fauna. Today it makes riches which are estimated in $30 billion dollars.

Global warming will affect on tropical woods. Already the area of woods between Chile and Argentina which are considered as ” the thermometer of the world ” is now reduced.

By 2050 the temperature in the Amazon will increase for 2-3 degrees, there will be longer a droughty period that threatens with transformation of 60 % of territory of the Amazon into savanna.

In danger is also a desert Chihuahua, between Mexico and the USA which is proud of 3 500 kinds of plants and animals, such as jaguar, bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis), a brown bear etc.

In China the Upper Yangtze, the fourth river by the size in the world which gives water for 450 million person and feeds woods, where red pandas and The Takin (Budorcas taxicolor) live, will dry up together with glaciers of Tibet.

In East Africa the coastal woods ,growing from Somalia up to Mozambique and protecting continent from winds of Indian ocean ,will die out.

The Bering gulf, in which Russia and the USA extract half annual fish catch ,will suffer also.

On Greenland ,in last years ,movement of the glaciers ,which are going down to the sea , was highly accelerated. The Arctic ices recede in the summer much further on the north, than before. According to some information the Gulf Stream began to slow down …

On Antarctic peninsula, which was extended aside South America, there is a too fast destruction of glaciers., There is an impression, that on the Earth really there comes “thawing weather”.
