Change of a climate in global scales not only forces polar ices thawing , but also leads actually to space consequences – on a planet , time course is broken. This process is illustrated with new computer model.
polar
At increase of temperature, any physical body increases the sizes – that concerns also to water. Slow warming of the Global ocean will lead to that its level will raise. Scientists from institute of meteorology “Max Planck” have created special computer model, which having calculated a level of ocean in 200 years.
ocean
Researchers considered only warming of ocean, without consideration thawing of glaciers appropriately to global warming. Their model leans at density and distribution of oceanic waters.

Redistribution of water mass as a result of expansion of ocean, apparently, will affect on rotation of our planet and will decrease day, writes “Nature” . However, there is no sense to look at clock convulsively, trying to see how time escapes – for 200 years day will decrease for 0,12 milliseconds.

According to scientists, oceanic waters are removed from equator to poles. Presence of greater water weight near to a terrestrial axis, will force a planet to rotate more quickly.

« The situation reminds performance of the skater making a pirouette, - professor Launderer ,the leader of research group, explains. - When hands are close to a body, the skater rotates more quickly ,than when they are spread ».

« The new model brings to the front position a question -how far global warming has come, - Richard Gross, the expert on rotation of the Earth ,considers.” our planet is the huge body and redistributions of weight can change radically the period of Earths rotation ».

« If to heat up ocean on various depths and in different places, water will be suitable to move », - agrees climatologist Rue Pont . However, he doubts, that similar changes will affect day duration.

« Till now remains a enigma how deep water mass of world ocean will react to heating. Models have various approach and a problem, - marks Pont. – “thawing glaciers could stop accumulation of water mass at poles and distribute water uniformly, and that counteracting effect which Launderer and its colleagues bring to the forefront ».
earth
Also are known other factors on which the duration of Earth day depends. Gravitation of the Moon, for example, each century increases day by 2,3 milliseconds. It is considered, that interaction between a terrestrial kernel and a terrestrial cover also matters.
summer
In 2002 , the group of researchers approved, that change of a climate extends day on 0,1 milliseconds in century. The cause – strengthening of the winds blowing from the West on the East, i.e. in a direction opposite to rotation of a planet.
If we summarize all these predictions (under the condition that they are exact and complete) day length does not decrease, but increases for 2,34 milliseconds each 100 years.

The spiders living in territory of Arctic regions, can suffer from global warming , and that can be reflected in all food chain of region because this kind of arthropods is food for birds. Michael Nickel , from Stuttgart’s university –Germany, has come to such conclusions, after researches of the Arctic spiders during the program “International polar year” 2007-2008,financed by United Nations .
global warming spider
The Arctic spiders live in territory of all Arctic regions. Most part of the life they spend under a snow. Their largest representatives have length ( from a tip of one leg up to a tip of opposite leg ) approximately 2,5 cm.

In conditions of a cold climate and a small amount of a feed , for grow up of the individual it is required about seven years. In the same time, the spiders living in southern regions, need for growing up time period of two years.
global warming melting snow
According to Nickel, at climate warming and melting snows the Arctic spiders can develop more quickly. However, in long-term perspective, northern regions will experience invasion of spiders from the south, and that can cause the essential loss of a population of their northern colleagues. Nevertheless, Nickel considers premature to speak about a final outcome of hypothetical rivalry. The scientist has noted necessity for reception of additional financing for the organization of field researches.
