Japan welcomes the plan of making of the new mechanism of fight against global warming offered by the USA with participation of 15 states.

He has noted, that Washington ” understands and positively estimates ” idea of the Japanese government about decrease twice emissions of hotbed gases by 2050.

The president of the USA George Bush has take steps on Thursday, May 31 , with the initiative of carrying out of a series of the international negotiations for struggle against hotbed emissions after expiry of the term of action of the Kyoto protocol in 2012.

“My offer consists in the following: by the end of the next year America and other countries will set a long-term global mission to reduce emissions of hotbed gases “, - the American president has declared, having added, that ” for realization of this problem the USA will go ahead with a series of meetings with participation of the states which make hotbed emissions in the greatest volume, including the countries with fast-growing economy, such as India and China “.

“For achievement of this long-term global purpose each country will establish intermediate term national parameters and programs which will reflect their own set of energy sources and the future energy needs “, - the head of the White house has told.

Bush has declared, that within the next 18 months multilateral working groups for cooperation on an exchange of technologies and practical application of “pure” energy will be generated, having emphasized, that during this process also ” the reliable and transparent system for measurement of progress in each of the countries will be developed”.

“This plan will help our countries to carry out of the obligations within the limits of the Frame Convention of the United Nations on the subject of change of a climate “, - the chief of the White house has noted, having added, that the USA ” will work with all countries-participants of this convention “.

Bush has not named the general number of the countries, with which USA plan to create working groups, but, according to journalists ,in conditions of anonymity of representatives of the White house, in the initiative of the president of the USA goes about 15 states which list will be declared in addition.

Huge waves will be extended on hundreds kilometers at a surface of global ocean due global warming.

Geophysics investigated a surface of ocean and have found out, that rise in temperature is capable to raise high waves. To check up this assumption John Fife and Oleg Saenko of Canadian University “Victoria”, have simulated ocean waves of 21st century.

« We have been really surprised by fact how quickly warming dispersed waves », - speaks Fife. In conformity with its model, global warming has already increased speed of movement of waves, but it nobody has noticed before.

The model also shows, that by the end of a century a waves will move on 20-40 % more quickly, than in days of Great geographical discoveries .

Problem of global warming (or cold snaps) is almost unique problem which unites all mankind. Under forecasts of scientists in the next 10-15 years the climate will significantly change, however nobody knows and cannot precisely predict, how it will vary and in what consequences it will result.

The only thing on what scientists do not argue is that the reason of global warming is the increase in a hotbed effect. Basically ,emissions of hotbed gases are connected with work of the industrial enterprises. However, the increase in a hotbed effect depends on considerable quantity of conditions. For example, the lay of land essentially influences on a situation - in territories with ravines effect is larger.

However consequences of a hotbed effect are observed in all corners of a planet, without exception. And threat of global warming disturbs heads not only of ecologists-activists . From time to time, global warming continues to remind of itself and scientists too.

It is proved by researchers of a problem of global warming, that glaciers thaw constantly and even it occurs slowly, but the water level at oceans from year to year stably increases. By scientists of German Institute of polar researches and oceanography it is noticed, that the temperature of Northern sea has raised on 0,6 degrees in comparison with the last year. Researches show, that northern seas were warmer before 50 million years on 10 degrees, but then have started to be cooled.

The most courageous theories approve, that in consequence of global warming which develops today, in the far future glaciers in general can thaw completely. Consequence of it will be reduction of flowing that will lead to cooling of a climate. And process will go to the opposite.
