The significant amount of highways, railways, systems of water supply and other communications constructed on Alaska, as a result of global climatic changes .will collapse much more quickly, than earlier, and will demand much more resources for their upholding in working order.

As informs The NY Times, results of the research are those , lead for the first time by University of Alaska in Anchorage. By opinion of scientists, cost of the maintenance of an infrastructure by 2030 will increase for six billions dollars and will go above 40 billion.
In research it is marked, that for last decades the average temperature in various parts of state has raised on two-five degrees that has already led to progressing erosion of a coastal line.
In the research also it is emphasized, that all forecasts are made in vision of preservation of present rates of global warming and do not include cost of moving sinking settlements, struggle against forest fires and protection of federal gas and oil highways, passing at territories of state.
