Global Warming

The European agency of preservation of the environment has prepared the report in which frightening data contain. In opinion of experts, by 2080 the climate of the Europe completely will change, cold winters will disappear, but in the hot summer the drought will alternate by hailstones and pouring rains. Change of a climate, possibly, will cause increase of flooding, which and so recently amaze the Europe, causing to a significant loss to an agriculture.

Analysts of agency approve, that the Europe heats up more quickly than other part of the world, therefore global warming will be mention before then in others regions. By 2050 three quarters of mountain glaciers in the Alps can be melted. The future flooding will carry away a plenty of lives, in fact in 2001 flooding became the reason of dying nearby 80 person in 11 countries of the Europe , while the heat in the western and southern Europe has carried away more than 20000 lives. Scales of disaster will increase every year.

According to research of The European agency of preservation of the environment , the temperature in the Europe has raised, on the average, on 0,94°C for the previous 100 years and can rise for 4,23°C in XXI century due to growth of concentration of hotbed gases in an atmosphere i.e. global warming. The Sea level will raise in two-four times more quickly in comparison with the last century that threaten to such regions as the Netherlands, where lowlands prevail and half of population lives below a sea level.

The Norwegian scientists ,working under direction of Bjorn Jamtveit from University of Oslo, approve, that have found a source of the gas which has become by the reason of global warming of a climate on our planet 55 million years ago.

According to the accepted hypothesis, the sharp increase in average temperature at the Earth has led to occurrence of new kinds of mammals, including, ancestors of primates i.e. methane “bombs” at the bottom of the sea promoted a birth of people The average temperature then has grown on five degrees of Celsius that meant occurrence of huge new territories, suitable for settling by animals.

Most likely, scientists agree in opinion, that “hotbed effect” has been caused by emission of huge weight of carbonic gas in an atmosphere, but there is no uniform theory, whence it could undertake.

By one of theories, carbonic gas was formed as a result of disintegration of the methane hidden in the form of hydrate (the frozen mix of water and methane) at a sea-bottom. Thus ,reaction of disintegration could be provoked by falling of a comet or an asteroid. The Norwegian researchers consider, that the initial push to irreversible process was given by the lava which has pulled out from bosom of the planet. In favor of the given assumption speaks the hydrothermal muzzles found out in the Norwegian sea , which from gas could be pulled out, millions years ago. However the put forward hypothesis at once had opponents. The matter is that the breeds ,found by control of Bjorn Jamtveit, contain a plenty of an isotope of carbon-12 , whereas in case by heating of a lava they should contain carbon-13. Norwegians, however, consider, that the similar situation speaks simply about horrible capacity of reaction and about enormous volumes of the gas thrown out.

Calculations show, that under certain conditions, small local warming or splash of volcanic activity nearby was enough , to hydrates have started to decay intensively, throwing out metane and carbonic gas. The slice of the hydro-methane ice simultaneously burns and thaws droplets

In fact it is important to mankind to understand, how the little changes of a climate can provoke extraordinary changes in it.

The significant amount of highways, railways, systems of water supply and other communications constructed on Alaska, as a result of global climatic changes .will collapse much more quickly, than earlier, and will demand much more resources for their upholding in working order.

As informs The NY Times, results of the research are those , lead for the first time by University of Alaska in Anchorage. By opinion of scientists, cost of the maintenance of an infrastructure by 2030 will increase for six billions dollars and will go above 40 billion.

In research it is marked, that for last decades the average temperature in various parts of state has raised on two-five degrees that has already led to progressing erosion of a coastal line.

In the research also it is emphasized, that all forecasts are made in vision of preservation of present rates of global warming and do not include cost of moving sinking settlements, struggle against forest fires and protection of federal gas and oil highways, passing at territories of state.
