The forest fires which storming in the south of state of California the fifth day already, are one of consequences of global warming. With such opinion on air of American broadcasting company CBS the governor of state Arnold Schwarzenegger has appeared. This opinion is founded on the bases. Experts of the United Nations in last report have specified that global warming really threatens the Earth with increase in number of forest fires and the periods of a drought.

Meanwhile fires in California began to cease. According to the data of American authorities, in Los Angeles region it is completely extinguished 3 of 4 fires. The number of those been killed reached eight people. The damage is estimated in billions dollars . Fire destroyed 165 thousand hectares of forests and not less than 1.5 thousand houses. About million of Californians were forced to leave houses.
