Surprises of the nature and why the prices of products have flied up

The reason is connected with the global warming of climate on the planet and the consequences of this process are natural cataclysms. In Argentina, Canada and Greece — the largest suppliers of grain on the world market — all the summer long there was an unknown drought. Grain is simply burnt-out. But the countries, which trade of grain is less active (England, Germany, France), have been flooded by rains. There grain rotted. It is obtained, that in the world was formed the sharp deficiency of this product. The reserves of grain are at the lowest level in the last 50 years. The population of planet constantly increases, and the countries, especially Asian, try to snatch to itself at least the part of “bread” resource. Into the action the principle of auction enters. Precious resource is obtained by the one who pay highest price. For example, price for the ton of Russian grain has grown 1.5 times in the comparison with last year price.

Also, because of the drought, entire harvest of sunflower has suffered. As a result, demands for sunflower oil were increased, and the price of a bottle has jumped up 2 times. One more victim of hot summer became cows. Meadows of New Zealand, the milkiest country of the world, have turned to the dried clearings. Cows ate not as good as before and have given a less quantity of milk. But the consumption of milk grows year from the year, which is connected with the general enthusiasm of the inhabitants of the different countries by healthy nourishment and by the entrance into “milk reign” of China (earlier the inhabitants of this country didn’t use milk at all in nourishment). In addition - the countries of the European Union have cancelled grants to their farmers for the production of milk, and those, in its turn, began to refund expenditures due to a wallet of usual citizens.

There can be an impression that the given situation is very favorable to Russia and that Russian can go on the world market with their milk. But, the fact is, that in the developed countries demand not for milk, but for the milk powder. In Russia dry milk practically is not produced. It is obtained, that the whims of nature, global warming and the constantly being increased demand for the products twist the circle of inflation.

The prices of raw material (grain) rises and as consequence the prices for all those products which are made from this raw material have grown. An increase in the cost of grain entails a rise of prices of the milk and meat. Sharp shortage of sunflower leads to a rise in price of sunflower oil. And expensive milk and vegetable oil conduct to an increase in the prices of many other products.

The reason of the happened cost-increase lies in the fact that in the entire world now occur the reconsideration of “agricultural values”. Many farmers come to the conclusion that to grow up grain is unprofitable. Bread costs too cheap in comparison, for example, with rapeseed (Brassica napus).These plants it is possible to use as a fodder for the cattle, and to the production of gasoline. With the same expenditures under the conditions of “double purpose” of this plant and constant rise of price of petroleum products -the ton of rapeseed is twice expensively than the ton of wheat. And the farmers of world sow increasingly more fields with rapeseed. For example, in Germany field sowed with rapeseed make already 40 percent of planted areas. Besides in the rapeseed fields the uses of chemical fertilizers are eliminated. Usually wheat from those fields is already hazardous to health because of fertilizers.

Man is inclined to believe in myths since the ancient times. The part of them is not deprived of logic, but finally more than half appears complete confusion. Identical situation is with the global warming myths. Here are the popular beliefs, connected with global warming:

1). Global warming does not happen at all.

Unfortunately happens. It is repeatedly proven by science, and by the facts it is confirmed, that the temperature quickly grows.

2). Global warming is natural process.

Most likely no; increases in the temperature, especially from the 70’s, considerably exceed natural changes.

3). In any case consequences will be gradual.

Strong windstorm become increasingly more frequently and it is proven by history, that sharp change of climatic conditions can begin suddenly, literally for several years.

4). Global warming will lead to a global flood.

If warming will go the same rates, the level of World Ocean will rise on 1 meter. But if we assume that all glaciers will thaw, which is certainly impossible, then water will rise on 10 meters. And if we consider, that the average height of land above the level of ocean is 840 meters, then experience in occasion of flooding it is not necessary.

5). Global warming - the unique reason of sharp, unpredictable changes of weather.

Global warming is not unique reason for that. There are a number of natural, cyclic processes with which global warming has no relation. And those processes can cause sharp warming or a cold snap. Those factors can provide ocean flows, cyclones, and change of a magnetic field of the Earth …

6). the emissions of carbon dioxide are too insignificant to provoke global warming.

It would be desirable to trust, but the facts deny it. According to the statistical data, to which it is possible to entrust, the graphs of the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and temperatures, at same time, are constructed. They match.

7). Because of global warming the temperature will soon grow so much, that all of us will expire.

Not so soon. In the last 100 years the temperature has grown on 0.7°? - 1 °C. And according to the most courageous forecasts in the next 100 years can grow up for 4.6 °C , but most likely this increase will not exceed 2°?. There are the models predicting a cold snap, but with smaller probability.

8). We shall get only benefit from global warming.

In some regions it will be possible to be glad by uncommonly warm weather, but the price of negative consequences will exceed any benefits. The number of diseases and deaths because of the heat will grow.

9). To an agriculture global warming will be only on advantage.

Carbon dioxide can increase the productivity of a number of agricultures, but as the amount of weeds and wreckers will increase also. Plants will not be able to grow well at the same place because of the climatic change.

10). The government will take care of us.

Besides applying of the Kyoto protocol (which limits emissions of carbon dioxide) by several countries, excluding the USA (largest source of harmful emissions) anything else it has not been made. The governments are afraid of the economic consequences of struggle against global warming.

11). Problem is not as serious as national security.

Well as to seem to be. If we consider that the global warming will affect each inhabitant of planet (with having painfully struck them), then I think it will be more serious.

12). The reasons of global warming are known.

Many believe that for the global warming it is completely guilty humankind and that having only stopped industrial activity, it is possible to avoid catastrophe. However, in the reality, the problem of climate variation is so new that now it is impossible to tell with accuracy about its reasons. That it happens is the fact, but the fact that this is the result of anthropogenic human activity is far from the unique version. Thus, for example, there is a version, that global warming is the result of the natural processes, proceeding in the system “the Sun - the Earth – Cosmos”.

13). We know how to struggle with global warming, we have technologies.

The strategic plan is in progress. There are several levels of versions of struggle against global warming, but all of them are from the area of a fantasy, and demand enormous investments, compared with the budget of the USA, but better is many small changes than one large.

14). We cannot do anything about it.

Everyone now can make its contribution to the struggle against global warming at least by simply observing rationalism in its consumer activity

Expert in the field of ecology devised the method to process human waste into biogas. The Indian ecologist proposed the cheap method of processing the by-products of human vital activity into the biogas and fertilizers, which, as he said, will improve the sanitary conditions of life of 2.6 billion people, forced to live without the toilet, and also will stop global warming.

The founder of the Sulabh International Social Service Organization ,Bindeshwar Pathak will present innovative system at the World Toilet Summit, which be held at the end of October in New Delhi.

“Association set as a goal - to reduce doubly the number of inhabitants of South Africa, which do not have toilet by 2015 and provide toilets to all by 2025″, – the ecologist has emphasized.

Pathak noted that the India’s contribution would be a toilet system of processing human waste into the compressed gas developed by it, whose combustion can be used, for example, for the production of fuel and electricity , and urine can be converted into fertilizer.
