The company Globe Scan has published the results of interrogation more than 22 thousand inhabitants of 21 states of the world, including the USA and Russia. Within the structure of interrogation it has been found out: what are people ready to do to stop process of global warming.
Interrogation showed that 83 % of interrogated consider that is necessary, that the inhabitants from the countries change the style of our own life. 61 % support increase of the taxes for energy which would force mankind to spend it more reasonably and economically.
In the USA 74 % of respondents have supported rise in price of energy. In Russia such opinion share only 36 % of interrogated (is record-breaking low result). In comparison, in the Great Britain rise in price of energy support 76 %, in China (together with the USA ,China is considered the main supplier of the ” greenhouse ” gases which maintain warming) - 83 %, in Australia - 80 %, in Germany and Egypt - 71 %, in France - 61 %, in Turkey - 41 %, in India - 49 %, in Nigeria - 47 %.
79% of Americans and 76% of Russians would agree to change the style of their life for the sake of struggle with the global climate variation. In Canada similar views share 91% of interrogated, in Great Britain - 84%, in France - 81%, in Germany - 88%, in China - 87%, in Turkey - 77%, in India - 61%, in Nigeria - 65%.
