On October 12, 2007. , in Oslo, Norway Albert Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change won the Nobel Peace Prize for the contribution to the fight with the global warming. Nobel committee estimated their efforts for study and popularizations of questions about global climate variation , and also the formation of information base for making of intergovernmental decisions for prevention of climatic catastrophe.

By its decision the Nobel committee has shown necessity of urgent decision -making for the rescuing of climate on the planet into the name of future mankind, before climatic changes will leave from under the control. There is a hope, that this will affect the consideration of further actions of states within the framework of The Kyoto protocol, which should take place during December 2007 in Bali, Indonesia.
In 2007 the former vice President of the USA Albert Gore has organized the wide information campaign, which basic purpose it was to describe to the entire world about catastrophic climate variations and about destructive human activity as the main reason for these changes. Within the framework of this campaign were released the book and film with the similar name ” An Inconvenient Truth” .
” An Inconvenient truth” - is not only enumeration of terrible facts about the catastrophic climatic changes, but also the detailed analysis of causes of these changes and the qualified recommendations about the necessary measures, which can correct a situation. At the end of the book is given the description of the fact that each person in his daily life can make for prevention the climatic catastrophe.
According to the data of experts, the elementary replacement of usual lamps incandescing to the energy suppliers in household illumination can reduce energy consumption 5 times. Furthermore , simple and accessible technologies on warming of windows will help to preserve heat in the houses - and to forego the use of additional devices of heating. The reduction of consumed heat and electricity – is a reduction of fuel burnt for its production and unnecessary of the building of new power stations, and means the reduction of the emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
