Man is inclined to believe in myths since the ancient times. The part of them is not deprived of logic, but finally more than half appears complete confusion. Identical situation is with the global warming myths. Here are the popular beliefs, connected with global warming:
1). Global warming does not happen at all.

2). Global warming is natural process.

3). In any case consequences will be gradual.

4). Global warming will lead to a global flood.

And if we consider, that the average height of land above the level of ocean is 840 meters, then experience in occasion of flooding it is not necessary.

Global warming is not unique reason for that. There are a number of natural, cyclic processes with which global warming has no relation. And those processes can cause sharp warming or a cold snap. Those factors can provide ocean flows, cyclones, and change of a magnetic field of the Earth … It would be desirable to trust, but the facts deny it. The number of diseases and deaths because of the heat will grow. 9). To an agriculture global warming will be only on advantage. Carbon dioxide can increase the productivity of a number of agricultures, but as the amount of weeds and wreckers will increase also. Plants will not be able to grow well at the same place because of the climatic change. 10). The government will take care of us. Besides applying of the Kyoto protocol (which limits emissions of carbon dioxide) by several countries, excluding the USA (largest source of harmful emissions) anything else it has not been made. The governments are afraid of the economic consequences of struggle against global warming. Well as to seem to be. If we consider that the global warming will affect each inhabitant of planet (with having painfully struck them), then I think it will be more serious. 12). The reasons of global warming are known. Many believe that for the global warming it is completely guilty humankind and that having only stopped industrial activity, it is possible to avoid catastrophe. However, in the reality, the problem of climate variation is so new that now it is impossible to tell with accuracy about its reasons. That it happens is the fact, but the fact that this is the result of anthropogenic human activity is far from the unique version. Thus, for example, there is a version, that global warming is the result of the natural processes, proceeding in the system “the Sun - the Earth – Cosmos”. 13). We know how to struggle with global warming, we have technologies. The strategic plan is in progress. There are several levels of versions of struggle against global warming, but all of them are from the area of a fantasy, and demand enormous investments, compared with the budget of the USA, but better is many small changes than one large. 14). We cannot do anything about it. Everyone now can make its contribution to the struggle against global warming at least by simply observing rationalism in its consumer activity
