Two thirds of the global population of polar bears will disappear before 2050th because of reduction of an ice cover in Arctic regions, consider scientists from Geological service of the USA.

Scientists predict that will survive only those polar bears which lives in Canada and Greenland ,of the 16000 polar bears living in territory of Canada, Alaska, Norway, Greenland and Russia . The area of dwelling of polar bears will be reduced to 42 %, informs Associated Press.
Those data have been received during six-monthly supervision over three groups of polar bears and research of their dependence of an ice cover of Arctic ocean. Also ,scientists took in calculation that fact, that by 2005th the ice cover in Arctic regions was reduced more than on 15000 square kilometers.
Ecologists are adjusted pessimistic , as doubt, that reduction of emissions carbonic and other industrial gases is capable to improve a situation.Carbonic and other industrial gases ,as believe many, are the reason of global warming and occurrence of a greenhouse effect, . ” Even at reduction of emissions of the gases causing the greenhouse effect, the same volume of energy will circulate in the atmosphere in next 40 years “, - Mark Maejrs, director of Geological service of the USA has informed.
