Hey, freak out some more! ALL CAP SENTENCES MAKE YOU SOUND SMART.

I'm glad to hear! How long has it been "awesome?" Please tell me your past the 6,7 year point when most patients are not complaining about Dry Eye Syndrome and are back in contacts or glasses. I hope you made it past that. The worst part is most of us can not tolerate contacts again because the Dry Eye Syndrome is soo bad. Believe me? Go to the pharmacy and notice all of the EYE DROPS FOR SPECIFICALLY LASIK DRY EYE, and poof! They know they have millions of us hurt! Hopefully not you.

Mine was AWESOME. They gave me a valium and when I woke up later that day I could see without my glasses. Still enjoying every minute of it.

Yes, it is created in the other room, on the intralasik machine, it creates the microbubbles under the surface, this is just them doing the flap lift, the correction, and then smoothing the flap back down.
In case anyone was wondering, I'm at 20/20 left and 20/15 right and couldn't be happier.

I don't understand this. When is the flap created? Before the video begins?
jarvitron (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yep, and that's why this was intralase. When the video starts, the flap has been created. The doctor then lifts the flap, and the correction begins.

Intralasik:no blande ,the fentosecond laser is creating the flap!
jarvitron (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You might have a point there, if it weren't for the fact that you're entirely wrong. Wavefront and Intralasik, as I mentioned.

The problem is this is not IntraLasik!!!!
This is the older technique:Lasik |
