Great to see this. Coil should have had more interest from the public, but they probably wouldn't have understood much of their music. Sad as hell that Jhon died and Coil ceased to exist.

Jhon Balance in this video looks like a handsome young gay who would normally have been into Pet Shop Boys or Madonna at the times, yet he was into all this mystical stuff and that's what was so appealing about him. Then he went to grow a long beard and sacrificed the gay look to more of an old guru look. And Coil became too deep and specialized pseudo-experimental compared to ther early very effective anti-pop.
