if you guys took high school chemistry in nowadays... then you'd know this isnt a myth, a buddy of mine did this in in his backyard, had a bit of a mishap with the wiring and no holes to let the hydrogen escape, and BOOM! good show, and it proves that this can work, ive seen it. and HHO is just what they call it, 2H0 is what it is. plus, if your skeptical of some dude in his garage using AMERICAN enginuity, theres somthing wrong with you.

Clearly this person has nothing to back up their product other than a bogus testimonial about saving money. This is a sales scam. I'm marking this as spam.

Alternators do not supply surplus current to the system. They scale their output to the electrical demand. Adding an HHO generator puts more load on the alternator, which makes the alternator pulley more difficult to turn, meaning the engine has to burn more fuel to turn it. There is a net energy loss through all of these conversions, meaning HHO generators reduce efficiency. Modifications to the O2 and MAP sensor lean out the engine and obscure the uselessness of the HHO generator.

Because the high frequency AC was just a scam using inadequate measurement techniques to make it look like there was less electrical energy used than in fact there was.
And there is no such thing as HHO. He's making 2H2 + O2 from 2H2O
pasoundman (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
What he has produced is a tiny quantity of H2 and O2. There is such thing as HHO.
The chemical equation goes as follows 2H2O 2H2 + O2
The minute quantities produced will not run a car engine !

us garage scientists are the best lol

the bonds that make H20 have a lot of energy. it would be possible to remove the bonds and create a new compound that makes that energy accessible. i still don't buy it though, i have heard some myths about it.

Currently the best method is buy a Honda, keep the tires at optimum pressure, make sure its serviced regularly drive sensibly.
You would get as good a performance as any claimed by HHO proponents.

The excess electricity can just about cover the rest of the electronic, devices like AC's consume way more electricity and affect fuel economy.
The HHO method is similar to the more effective Nitro systems. If you can somehow generate the required power to split water at home (via Solar Panels) then move the gasses in cannisters to the car it could be more effective. |
