Very useful!
Thanks a lot for posting this, it's definitely going to help me in my research paper on renewable energy.

Technically, if you look in the original laws, taxes are illegal. We still have to go by it though. I'm not going against it, you get into hot water when you don't pay them...

Yes sooner rather than later. I have recently been using my car (an '88 corolla) which is particularly fuel efficient, but still get pissed off that there are no cheap alternatives that are as convenient as a car that don't burn for energy. God damn GM for ditching the EV. Thanks for the comment. Take care.

Ran out of comment space.
Water power can still be utilized by capturing the rain. Rotational power can be placed in rain outputs, such as strategic locations on the roof, in gutters, or drains. Also, to conserve energy from cell-cleaning systems, you could channel the rain over solar panels to wash away obstructions, thus saving energy from the systems that would use the energy. There are so many things to utilize that people don't realize.
Sooner or later, renewable energy has to be used.

Solar energy is very intriguing with me.
Though it is intermittent like you said, wind power can be a good backup. And you can make low-energy systems that run on solar that will detect and mechanically clean obstructed cells, which can run on the energy it's cleaning!
I'm not reliable on water, since most people don't have immediate access to water. So yes, my thoughts are mainly on solar and wind, the two most prevalent sources of renewable energy.

Seeing how interested you are in renewable energy sources, you should bring to the table new never been before seen ideas that put these basic ideas to work more efficiently. By basic i mean, solar, wind, and hydrothermal. If you want to bring something beneficial to your viewers, give them ideas that you, and you alone have thought about. Save the explation of those basic ideas for wikipedia readers. It's not hard either to come up with your own ideas. I've thought up a whole slew of them.

Nice to see young people getting involved, and being so knowledgeable.
Hey, if you're in Australia, look up the Permaculture folks and get some more great ideas -- they've been spreading them since the 70s and now, at last, the rest of the world is catching up.

Like I said - its bullshit = unfair and contradicts the freedom of speech act. What a ridiculous law.

Nah...I'm serious. If you threaten the president here, even if you are joking, you can be arrested. A police officer in Tampa did it in a business and was arrested and sent to prison for five years, and he is one of many. So like I said...I'm sticking with no comment. |
