I and friends of mine have noticed that the regular filiment bulbs seem to blow out quite a bit more quickly than they used to , thats the hook that got me to switch to cfl's and my light bill then went up. but hey looking on the bright side it will only be higher for the 5 years of the friggin bulbs life span!
I dont have any doubts that this WAS intentional buy the power company, the bulb manufacturers and even the jerk putting ruts in my lawn when he checks my meter. I WANT OFF THE GRID!!!

The meter is a kill-a-watt meter, designed for reading power consumption

is the meter true RMS?

Through more research we have discovered that certain areas have different billing to charge you for your power. We do not feel that this was intentional error on the industries part, but more of the fact that the energy needed to run the circuit itself was overlooked in calculation of power savings on the package We also found that some countries factor that in and take the loss themselves, but they still have to produce that extra energy which does contribute to pollution so PFC is important

if you are going to put text in your video, just put it in clear paragraphs, or scroll it down from the top. It will be more pleasant for viewers.

Another classic example of how WalMart is destroying the universe along with George W Bush, big oil and I'm sure the drug companies have something to do with this too. Wake up people! We must go back to the caves, it's our only hope!

you should use seperate ammeter and voltmeter to mesure power using P=I*V to get acurate results

I think its other ones also because I had several different brands in the circuit when I did the tests. I also tested a switching power supply that puts out I think 14 volts and when I would run a resistive load with that power supply, the killwatt would give one reading and the clamp meter would read a different one. so I suspect its a feature of the switching power supplies that does that.
I was reading amps with the clamp meter and calculating for watts and comparing it with the killawatt |
