The 12 volt car battery is the power source.
Why not just connect the 12 volt motor directly to the ac alternator, with a flywheel on the shaft. Would be more "efficient" and not so noisy.

This was done 18 years ago? Awesome! I would have expected it to take longer to develop. It's an interesting design, but something is missing. Perhaps a smaller voltage feedback circuit? Something that would amplify the magnetic field a bit when the current is being drained? Perhaps an array of capacitors that can be incrementally charged/discharged.

The machine slowed down when he accidently left those two lights on in front and at same time he used vacuum claner - as soon as he turned off those 2 lights, the rpms went back up.
probably he has coils at top that get pulsed by caps, caps fill from those 8 (n-s?)magnets in each large rotor - which fill those caps that pull the iron rods attached to crankshaft up.
